She was Lola Charing’s great friend. She was a Feliciano from Pampanga but inherited a slew of Manila real estate properties from her Licauco mother. She was married to Dr. Ricardo “Carding” Juico, a cardiologist.
I remember that when she passed away in 1975, it was my first time to see an “open” American coffin. As a short, 8 year old boy, I could see her veiled head, face and upper body elevated from the coffin even at a distance. One did not have to peer into it. Everybody remarked on how expensive that coffin was!!! 😛
