1970s residential chic, Berenguer-Topacio style

Because she was a paternal first cousin of my Mommy, we were frequently invited to her stylish house in Paranaque for family lunches.  It was the 1970s, and her interior design career was in full bloom.  She was the designer of choice in Manila.  She was still approaching her peak, and her future was full of excitement.

Mercedes “Ched” Reyes Berenguer-Topacio.

The lanai.

The pool pavilion.  The billiard table.  The bar.

The dining room.

The landscaped garden.

The “natural-looking” swimming pool.

And all of young chicdom were there!!!
